Timothy: So, we’re trying something new and we’d love some feedback. Yolanda is sort of a guide writing machine and loves a lot of games that tend towards the use of guides. As such, we think it natural we throw some advice and solid guidage (is that a word?) your way. This particular guide is for World of Warcraft, but are there any other games you might be interested in? Let us know!
This is how you can go from Neutral to Exalted with the Lorewalkers in just an hour.
With World of Warcraft’s latest expansion Warlords of Draenor just around the corner, you probably want to start maxing out your Pandaria reputation. We’re going to help you do that quick, fast and in a hurry.
Earning Exalted status with The Lorewalkers is a lot easier than you might think. It can be done without doing a single daily quest and at the end of it, you too can have your very own Red Flying Cloud mount. You don’t even need Archaeology as a profession! So, here’s what you need.
- A level 90 character
- At least 280% flight speed
To complete this task hassle free, you will need to install the following addons. Yes they are safe, yes they are popular and yes they are very, very helpful.
Tip: If you don’t have the Curse Client installed, you should probably do that. (Get it here.) The client allows you to download and install helpful addons to your game with just a click. It’s non-invasive and a must-have.
Now that you know what you need, here’s what you’re going to do. The trick to earning the reputation is to complete the Exploration Achievements on the Pandaria map. You’ll be doing this my clicking on various monuments/objects throughout the map. The great part is that you can stay mounted practically for the whole thing, only dismounting once or twice.
- Open Paste by left clicking on it.
- Paste the coordinates below into it.
- Follow the waypoints set by TomTom.
- Click on readable object.
I pasted my coordinates zone by zone. You may want to start at one zone and work your way around Pandaria clockwise. I found the below coordinates in a comment on an article while scouring the internet for the most accurate coordinates. When completing each of the achievements, you will receive reputation with the Lorewalkers, as well as when you have clicked on each of the objects. Hovering over them with your mouse will display the icon indicating that it is readable.

When you’ve finished all of the achievements, find a mail box. Whether you hearthstone to your faction’s headquarters (Shrine of Two Moons or Shrine of Seven Stars) or just pop by the nearest mailbox is completely up to you. In your inbox you will notice several (8 if you completed all the achievements) quest items sent by Lorewalker Cho. Accept each of these as you would with the Darkmoon Fair quests for example.
You will now be able to hand in these quests at Lorewalker Cho, he is on the very top floor of the Mogu’Shan Palace (Seat of Knowledge). When turning in a quest, Lorewalker Cho will start telling a story, which he must complete before you can turn in the next. Given the timely manner in which he does this, you may want to skip it. You can do this by logging out each time he starts. (Suffice it to say you need to log back in.) This ensures that you are able to turn in a quest every 20 to 30 seconds.
When you’ve turned in seven of the eight quests, you will have gone from Neutral to Exalted and be able to buy an awesome Red Flying Cloud mount for just 420 gold. The Red Flying Cloud is an account level mount, which means once you have it, you can use it on all of your characters as both a riding and flying mount.
Keep an eye out for the next PowerPlay guide next week!
