While the particular purpose of this commercial isn’t entirely clear, making very little sense whatsoever, its intent is very clear, sell Axe. So the point of this commercial is to advertise the partnership between Axe and Battlefield 4. At best, you can win some prizes by entering the Axe-Battlefield 4 Sweepstakes, although we have no idea whether SA citizens will qualify, and at worst, well this trailer is just stupid. That said, and if we ever do get Walmart here in SA, although there’s a good chance another retail outlet will sell it, and should you happen to purchase a Battlefield 4 branded Axe deodorant can, well you can redeem some code for some probably inconsequential aesthetics, like dog tags.
We do like dog tags though, and one or two of them do look pretty decent… hmmm, oh well, I’m sure we’ll get over it. Just think though, this video is rife with innuendo and we can’t wait to brew up some decent Battlefield 4 sexy time memes.
