A Star Trek Online player accidentally revealed the existence of a nude patch that he is also selling to any person willing to pay. The mod is an interesting take on the free MMO and is quite graphic in its depiction of women from the numerous species that inhabit the Star Trek universe. The player, known as SkyBuck, linked a collection of in-game screenshots that he took and which he posted on the official Star Trek Online forums.
Unfortunately for him SkyBuck linked the images from his personal site and with a bit of exploring through the directory tree some enterprising forum members found and copied the entire collection of screen shots showing off the ‘capabilities’ of the nude mod. Most of the images are not safe for work but here is the link if you enjoy perving at pixels.
SkyBuck will sell you the mod for the small sun of 1 million energy credits – something we know thanks to the classy ad he put in the directory and in his player bio. The forum thread quickly degenerated into a bashing session and successfully chased the porn-loving Rear Admiral away with many users calling for a perma-ban from both the forums and game. Some users also questioned the legality of the nude mod and how it infringes on other players’ privacy.

If a game allows patches, there will be a nude one
Surely selling patches from one user to another (irrespective of what it is) violates the terms of use? nevermind the whole “player privacy” abuse… and yet somehow, I’m not surprised by all this…
People out there don’t follow the terms of use.
…and then you ask yourself the question…BUT WHY?
Indeed, seems a colossal waste of time.
Oh god I hate think think what the klingons will look like :/
LOL neither do I!
i’m with Charl on this one, why?
