In true Robin/Zelda Williams style Penélope Cruz and her sister Mónica have teamed up with Nintendo to star in the latest New Super Mario Bros. 2 TV advert.

This is what Laurent Fischer, Nintendo of Europe’s Managing Director of Marketing and PR, had to say about Nintendo teaming up with the Cruz sisters:
Teaming up with the Cruz sisters is a perfect fit for us. Not only because New Super Mario Bros. 2 lets two players enjoy the entire adventure playing as brothers Mario and Luigi simultaneously but because these sisters have been genuine fans of the series for many years. The co-op mode really brought out their competitive side and they had a lot of fun trying to collect as many coins as possible while racing to finish each level first.”
New Super Mario Bros. 2 will be available locally for Nintendo 3DS from 17th August 2012 at selected retailers, with a RRP of R499.

I kinda got distracted from the gameplay. I had to watch the ad again
missed the SUPER MARIO part the first time. Had to watch again to see what they were advertising.
