Kinect to recognise over 6000 commands in Madden NFL 13

madden-kinect

To date there has been very little to get us excited with regards to anything Kinect-related. Motion controls are just so 2006 but it seems that if there is one area that Kinect excels at it’s voice recognition. We saw EA’s entry into this market with Mass Effect 3 and now they’re planning to take voice recognition to the next level in Madden 13.

As South Africans most of us could not care for the sport but for those who do this is a pretty neat feature, enabling shouting out of offence or defence formations. The truth of the matter is that, other than play commands, you can call out a players name to action something – hence there being over 6000 commands. It’s an impressive feature, though we’re yet to test it. For now we’ll continue playing Child of Eden or Gunstringer (Brett will play Just Dance 3. Diabolical Pitch, actually – Brett)

Married to a gamer wife who kicks my ass at most shooters I don't take myself very serious. Mario, Kratos, Master Chief, Modern, Retro, Arcade - I live for games, it's as simple as that.
