Rockstar fires back at Max Payne 3 cheaters

max-payne ges 3

If your finding a lot less people to shoot at  in Max Payne 3 multiplayer, the reason could be that they have been quarantined with the rest of the dirty cheaters. Rockstar are coming down hard on cheaters by sending any reported cheaters to a massive cheaters pool. And its not the kind of pool that you suntan next to while drinking cocktails, its the exact opposite of that pool. Rockstar released this statement regarding the dirty low-down cheaters.

We’ve taken steps to quarantine confirmed cheaters in Max Payne 3 Multiplayer. Starting today, anyone we’ve found using hacked saves, modded games, or other exploits has officially been cordoned off in a dedicated cheater pool, confined to wallow with other unscrupulous reprobates.”

Rockstar have asked anyone that comes across these lowly cheaters to please send an email to maxpayne3.banhammer@rockstargames.com, and include the following information:

  • platform (PC, PS3 or Xbox 360)
  • cheater’s Gamertag / ID
  • description of the violation
  • if possible, concrete evidence, such as a video or a screenshot

If you find yourself hanging out in the ban pool for no reason what so ever you can send an email to the same address and you can try convince Rockstar of your innocence. For the rest of you in the ban pool…shame on you.

Loving the fact that cheaters will be trying to outcheat each other = mass frustration.

Lonthor has a point I guess. Kiddies may frequent here as well.

I’m happy with the way the cheaters will be dealt with, I just hope kids that get pooned proper don’t go crying and get them banned. Hopefullly they do a bit more investigation.

What’s the point of cheating at all? Still can’t wrap my around the idea. It’s so utterly pointless. It’s like going to a paintball match with real bullets.
