The Expendables 2 getting a game tie-in

Expendables

You read that correctly, the upcoming Expendables sequel will get getting its own game. The title based on The Expendables 2 will be releasing with the film, courtesy of Ubisoft, and will be available on PC, PS3 and Xbox LIVE Arcade.

The Expendables game will be a four-player co-op affair, with players able to select the characters portrayed by Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li or Terry Crews. Whether Chuck Norris will be making a cameo appearance is unknown.

The game’s plot has something to do with rescuing a billionaire and the title will probably feature enough explosions to make Michael Bay turn several shades of green. Just how gameplay will work or who the developer is hasn’t been revealed yet.

Will it suck? Probably. Do we hope it’ll be an exception to the rule? Definitely. Will we be disappointed? We’ll have to wait and see.

I hope this is over-the-top ridiculous! I think it would do well to not take itself too seriously

The 4 player Co op sounds appealing. This might be pretty fun.

The leaked video of the game is horrible. I won’t touch this with a 7 foot pole. O:
