Xbox 720 specs leaked… M$ gets them pulled

console-xbox-360

A document that was allegedly leaked from within Microsoft which detailed the specs of the Xbox 720 has been pulled by the request of a law firm. The document was leaked along with a bunch of images and details not only the specs of the Xbox 720 but also the pricing and additional components that might be in development with it.

The document, which was dated 2010, references Microsoft’s recently announced SmartGlass, a next-generation Kinect, augmented reality glasses and Blu-ray compatibility. Apparently 3D capabilities will be available thanks to Kinect 3D glasses and by 2015 the console will have 4G connectivity. The document states that the 720 will be six times faster than its predecessor and will have a separate processor for dedicated backwards compatibility support for Xbox 360 titles. The listed retail price is $299.99. The fact that the document was pulled might be evidence that the details are closer to the truth than Microsoft would like and that the document might actually be real.

A father, a gamer and a hardware madman. If it can be overclocked, watercooled or tweaked then I want it.

Yes at the same time a lot of the MS peeps are saying the docs are fakes as they don’t have all the normal official MS letterheads etc and Top secret stamps and what not.

Glasses sound dumb, the rest is really cool though.
