Let’s melt some butter…

Melting butter

The mobile chip market is a competitive industry these days with Qualcomm fighting against Samsung and other companies eager to take a slice of the mobile phone and tablet market. Now and again a tech company likes to show off its product in an unusual way and Qualcomm is no different.

To show that their chip runs cooler than the rest Qualcomm engineers took blocks of butter, that apparently melt at 35 degrees Celsius, placed then on three smart phones and then pushed the phones to the max. It’s hardly a technical level demonstration but it is kind of cool.
