NHL 12 was one of the most polished products to ever come out of the EA studios. It took just about everything that was wrong with previous editions and bumped it up to a production level that left fans marvelling at the improvements. The problem with such drastic improvement is of course how to follow that up.
With a set of improvements already announced, EA have now released a video showing the changes to the most basic mechanic of the game, skating. If this video is anything to go by NHL 13 may just go one better than NHL 12, which is something they would be hard pressed to do. The skating mechanics are just amazing and if EA manage to get the system to work as well as it seems to be in this demonstration, then NHL fans might just be the happiest sport fans in 2012.
