Square Enix and Avalanche are working on a new open world title that is supposedly “ground breaking”. The unnamed action title is slated for release either in 2013 or 2014, possibly for current or next-gen consoles. There is speculation that Avalanche is working on the next Just Cause (which would be just fantastic).
The news comes via an email sent to gaming website Eurogamer advertising a recruitment event tomorrow at the The Crowne Plaza Baltimore North Hotel. The company is looking for staff for several projects, including two unannounced titles based on movie and comic franchises. The wording for which game will release when is a bit unclear.
One of the unannounced titles is believed to be based on upcoming film Mad Max 4: Fury Road.
