Microsoft refunding disgruntled Minecraft players

Minecraft (3)

Microsoft is offering refunds to those Xbox 360 owners who bought Minecraft but due to the limitations of their TVs are unable to play split screen. To play split screen the Xbox 360 console must be connected to an HD screen through an HDMI cable but players were not warned of this before purchasing the game.

Microsoft has now updated the pre-sale screen to inform the purchaser of the requirements to enjoy the full features of the game.

A father, a gamer and a hardware madman. If it can be overclocked, watercooled or tweaked then I want it.

I wonder if the refunds remove the full game from these players?

Good move by Microsoft. They really should make the “split-screen requires HD TV” warning more noticeable though :/
