Infinity Ward has announced that the next DLC pack to be released for Modern Warfare 3 will feature a new multiplayer mode called Face-Off which will feature one-on-one and two-on-two deathmatch combat. The new game mode also comes with four new maps specifically designed for the new game mode. The four new maps are Aground which is set on a shipwreck off Scotland, Erosion which is set amongst Roman ruins, Getaway is set in a mansion in Brazil, and Lookout is set in Afghanistan in a forward operating base.

Xbox 360 players will have free access to the first two maps on the 15th May 2012 with the other two maps being released on the 22nd May 2012. PC and PS3 release dates have not been confirmed. The DLC Collection 2 will also include three standard multiplayer maps; Sanctuary, Foundation and Oasis. The first two have been available on Elite but Oasis is a completely new map. Furthermore there are also two new Spec Ops co-op missions coming too.
