This is something we wouldn’t have expected from Ratchet and Clank creators Insomniac Games. The development company has got a new game in the works and it will be launching on Facebook.
The title, Outernauts, is being created for EA who have been pushing harder into the social side of gaming in the last two years or so. Having a major development name behind the title will make more than a few gamers curious, especially since Outernauts is described as “combining Insomniac’s immersive storytelling with a unique art style and sense of wit.“
Some of the listed features of the title, which is apparently the biggest thing Insomniac have worked on in their 18-year history, are below.
- Capture, train and evolve exotic alien beasts
- Master a wild, untamed universe of 30-plus planets and arenas
- Battle your friends or fight alongside them in treacherous dungeons
- Uncover a deep story with real RPG strategy and humor
