Incredible Connection has given us a list of its top five gadgets for the month of April which includes a graphics card, an educational console, a camera, a smartphone and a remote control toy.
Here are the top five gadgets for April in no particular order:
Asus GeForce GTX 560 1GB
The GTX 560 is a great little card but its bigger brothers, the GTX 560 Ti and GTX 560 488, should be on your list if you can afford them. IC has this little card for R2,600 which is a little on the expensive side.
Leapfrog Leapster Explorer
This little handheld console is aimed at the younger generation and is packed with educational games that promote early development. The stylus is intended to promote hand-eye co-ordination and should help younger children master the art of holding a pen. At R700 it’s not that expensive.
Canon Ixus 500 HS
This little camera has a price tag of R3,000 and pack sin a 12x stabilised zoom, Full HD video capture and a 10-megapixel sensor. The Ixus 500 HS is designed to work well in poor light conditions which makes it ideal for parties. The stabilised zoom means that even those with the perpetual shakes can snap a great photo.
BlackBerry Curve 9380
BlackBerry’s latest Curve phone is a full touch affair that has an 806MHz processor and runs BlackBerry’s OS 7. The lack of a hardware QWERTY keyboard is frustrating at times but the touch screen is far from terrible, however the onscreen keyboard needs a bit of work. The Curve 9380 can be bought from IC for R2,000.
BeeWi BBZ201 Mini Cooper S
The Parrot Drone is really cool but it’s far from easy to fly and the chance that you will crash it into a tree or wall is 100%. The BeeWi BBX201 Mini Cooper S is a car that can be controlled with an Android phone. The range is limited to 10m and uses your phone’s built-in accelerometer to control the car. At R500 it might be the best gift idea for Father’s Day.

Top 5? as in sold the most? Really, people bought a remote controlled car?
Lol Incredible Corruption those guys are always expensive with everything why people buy from them is beyond me. Unless they had a really massive sale and people went mad and bought those things o.O
When they have sales they usually don’t have stock… or that’s what the salespeople tell you.
Not sure I agree with this list, is this a marketing stunt? Who buys an Android Mini car at R500.00 and then subtly mentions it’s a good buy for Father’s day.
Dewald I think you guys should get IC to pay for an advertorial, and bump this article…
