FIFA 13 details released

Fifa 13v2

Much to the surprise of everyone (not really) FIFA 13 has been announced and some new details about what EA’s popular football game has improved on what was already done.

Along with more realistic looking players, EA announced that FIFA 13 will offer even more ball control than ever before with a focus on strength, speed and skill of players affecting the control. The Impact Engine introduced in FIFA 12 has also received some work which is most welcome considering some of the ridiculous animations which plague FIFA 12.  EA have also said that dribbling will be managed more meticulously, along with set pieces, while defending set pieces will also be vastly improved upon adding to the realism of the footie sim.

As always the battle between FIFA and PES is ongoing. FIFA in the lead after recent years but the PES series has showed just what resting on your laurels can do. That being said, every single improvement EA work on and every addition to the game will only be a positive step in keeping up the momentum. For sport fans, FIFA 13 can’t come soon enough.

Any FIFA released during the great PES years of 1 – 2006 was not fun. Fact.

Honestly dude, that’s really a one sided and biased arguement. Im a big fan of both PES and FIFA. Granted PES never had the big had the licenses but it was great to play, still is in fact. It was honestly better than FIFA until 09 came out after that FIFA has been dominating but doesn’t change the fact that PES rocked.

Agreed George, PES was brilliant back in the day compared to FIFA.
