Police Warfare Kickstarter cancelled, no explanation

police-warfare

The developers behind Police Warfare, Elastic Games, have shut down the Kickstarter account for the game which had a target of raising $325,000 (R2.5 million). The Kickstarter account had so far raised $25,000 (R196,000). Elastic Games posted a message on the Kickstarter page for the game which just said:

Thank you so much for the incredible response to the game. We’re shutting down the kickstarter account but this is by no means the end of Police Warfare. News will be coming.

Elastic Games was made up of developers who worked on Assassin’s Creed 2, Killzone 2 and GTA 4 who were developing Police Warfare to be an “extremely high quality shooter built for digital download.” The closure of the Kickstarter account could signal that a publisher like EA has shown an interest in the game and now wants to invest in it. Only time will tell.

A father, a gamer and a hardware madman. If it can be overclocked, watercooled or tweaked then I want it.
