Gigabyte is preparing to launch two new GTX 560 graphics cards which will feature Gigabyte’s WindForce 2X cooler. The WindForce 2X cooler uses four copper heatpipes running into an aluminium fin array heatsink which is cooled by two 100mm fans. Both cards are based on the GF114 GPU with 336 CUDA cores, a GPU clock speed of 810MHz and 1GB of GDDR5 running at 4008MHz.
The two cards are different revisions of the same model number: GV-N56GUD-1GI. Revision 1.0 has an Ultra Durable VGA design using solid capacitors, 2oz copper PCB, Low RDS MOSFET and Ferrite/Metal core chokes. The 2.0 revision has the same features as 1.0 but adds a NEC Proadlizer capacitor to the mix. To differentiate the two models the fan shrouds are noticeably different. Pricing and availability have yet to be announced.
