The Battlefield 3 beta launches today for owners of the Medal of Honor : Limited Edition/Tier 1 Edition and those who pre-ordered the game from the EA Origin Store.
If you are clicking refresh on your browser 50 times a second, relax. According to gaming website Eurogamer beta codes will be sent out via email; starting at lunch time. This is lunch time in the UK so it should be between 13:00 and 14:00 local time.
DICE have asked that people not contact them asking when they will receive their codes as it’s a automated process and they can’t tell you when your code is going to be sent.
They also mentioned that the lunch time launch is only for the Xbox 360 and PC versions with an ETA on the PS3 version’s beta codes still pending.
If you don’t own a copy of Medal of Honor or you didn’t pre-order Battlefield 3 through Origin, don’t stress. The public beta launches on Thursday 29 September.
