Earlier this month Toshiba announced the AT200 tablet which is now available for pre-order in the EU. The AT200 is the bigger brother of the AT100 (you can expect a review of the AT100 early next week). The 16GB and 32GB models are being priced at €479 (R5,300) and €584 (R6,500) respectively.
The Toshiba AT200 has a 10.1-inch 1280×800 LED-backlit touchscreen and is only 7.7mm thick. Inside there is a 1.2GHz OMAP 4430 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16/32GB of flash storage, WiFi, Bluetooth and a battery which is said to provide eight hours of usage. The AT200 boasts a rear-facing 5 megapixel camera, front-facing 2 megapixel camera, a micro HDMI output, micro USB port and a microSD card slot. Contrary to previous information the AT200 will ship with Android 3.2 and not Android 3.1.
