According to unnamed sources close to AMD the AMD FX Series processors will apparently be released on 12 October 2011. This date is reportedly official. AMD has up to this point been very quiet about the launch dates of the Bulldozer based processors which has only served to fuel the rumour mill.
The other piece of information that secret sources have leaked out is the pricing of these processors with the flagship FX-8150 8-core chip costing R1,900. The FX-8120 and FX-6100 will be priced at R1,600 and R1,360 respectively.
