So this got to us a bit late (on that note: Happy birthday Madiba – from the PCF and G3AR folks) but since ASUS is giving away a P8P67 Deluxe in honour of Nelson Mandela’s 93rd birthday, we present to you… an ASUS competition. At 67 characters, this may be a little harder to manage than a Twitter account.
“Mr Mandela has spent 67 years making the world a better place. We’re asking you for 67 minutes.” Nelson Mandela turns 93 on 18 July, and the call has gone out for people everywhere to celebrate his birthday – and the global launch of Mandela Day – by acting on the idea that each person has the power to change the world.
To celebrate this special day, ASUS South Africa has decided to find out why you are proud to be a South African. We are giving away a top-of-the-line P8P67 Deluxe motherboard!
This is your chance to be creative! Tell us, in 67 characters, why you love South Africa. Tell us why you love living here, why you love being here, or what makes you “Proudly South African”.
The competition will run for two weeks, starting 18 July 2011 to 1 August 2011. You can post your comments on the ASUS South Africa Facebook or Twitter pages
It’s really that simple.
Disclaimer: Should you win please contact ASUS South Africa. We’re simply helping ASUS promote the competition and will play no part in the final decision.
